The teachers and tutors can book a special preparatory visit to the Hat Museum. This visit intends to help outline the cultural and pedagogical interest of the teacher and adapt the visit contents to those same interests. The Hat Museum also offers a pedagogical dossier for preparation of the visit and posterior exploration of its contents and pedagogical actions with students. Preparatory visits are free for the teachers and should be booked in advance.
The Hat Museum can’t assume the responsibility of taking care of your group. When planning visits, groups are advised to ensure that a responsible person (1 for each 20 students) assures a suitable risk assessment to their group’s particular needs.

The "Hat on the Street" project is aimed at seniors with reduced mobility who are unable to physically travel to the Museum. Therefore, the Museum visits senior care facilities, where it organizes a series of recreational activities. Sessions last approximately one hour each, and multiple sessions can be scheduled for each nursing home. In return, the center must arrange a visit to the Museums exhibitions for users without mobility restrictions. This initiative aims to create conditions for the greatest possible number of people to enjoy the Museum by bringing the stories and experiences portrayed by the Museum to senior care centers.

Because there are still many stories to hear and tell, the Hat Museum developed a program specially aimed for seniors. We organize several recreational and educational activities for senior citizens, to train their minds and promote cultural entertainment and social interaction. This project, developed by professionals with experience in Senior Animation, provides our visitors relaxed and playful moments, developing visits to the exhibitions in a very simple manner. These visits can also be complemented with activities and workshops that help to stimulate creativity.
