International campaign Portugal a Countryside Dream promoted by Turismo do Porto e Norte passes through the Hat Museum
The Municipality of S. João da Madeira, through its Tourism Unit, hosted around 50 tour operators from Olimar Reisen, one of the main tour operators in Germany, in the city. The visit included a gastronomic experience at the Museum restaurant "O Boinas", which was followed by a visit to the Hat Museum and the Shoe Museum.

THE SYMBIOSIS BETWEEN INDUSTRIAL TOURISM AND LITERARY TOURISM: On the route with Unhas Negras
We present the article, authored by Ana Cláudia Salgueiro da Silva, PhD in Literature from the University of Évora.
This article aims to highlight the experiences related to the industrial and literary heritage, perpetuators of memories. The core of this study focuses on Industrial Tourism in S. João da Madeira and on the Hat Museum, based on the novel "Unhas Negras", by João da Silva Correia.
