FOR A FELT CIRCULAR ECONOMY EORKSHOP

FOR A FELT CIRCULAR ECONOMY EORKSHOP

As part of the 2023 European Heritage Days, the Hat Museum presents another felt workshop, on the 23rd of September, at 2 pm.

Promoted by Feltrando Portugal, it aims to raise public awareness of the Circular Economy, Upcycling and Recycling, starting from an industrial waste, uncommon, but very identifying of a region and industry – Felt.

By promoting material reuse practices, it will be possible to highlight the basic principles of the Circular Economy, which also include the recovery of ancient traditions and techniques of “know-how”, through design and innovation.

Based on the experience of Filomena Almeida, promoter of the FELTRAND project, products for everyday use will be created, from home textiles to fashion accessories.
